Film Screening - Online Event "Helping the Homeless"

Helping the Homeless - Online Event, Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 7 PM (EST)

Force For Good's mission is to inspire and empower people to promote positive change by creating uplifting music and films that encourage personal and global well-being. FFG’s original instrumental music/film collaborations promote vital issues for humanity, including peace, safety, equality, respect for the environment, and most importantly, compassion for all.

FFG’s new virtual screening series spotlights a local nonprofit organization that is instrumental in the community by actively serving one or more of these important issues. This “Helping the Homeless” episode, based on the film Homeless, will spotlight Elvis Summers, founder of The Tiny House Project in Los Angeles. We will be raising funds for the HomeFront Family Services in New Jersey and The Tiny House Project. 100% of all donations will go directly to the charities.

Event Info:

This event will premiere the recently released short film Homeless, with a brief introduction by Force For Good founder/filmmaker Jonathan Sprout. Following the film, Jonathan will interview The Tiny House Project founder, Elvis Summers. Members of the HomeFront NJ team will be in attendance to tell their stories and be part of the Community Conversation Q&A.

Emmy-award winner Rodney Whittenberg, the film's co-producer, will also be in attendance and host the event. According to Sprout, ”The Force For Good films are being offered as an uplifting collaboration to like-minded nonprofits as promotional and educational tools that will increase awareness of their mission and the services they provide in the community. In other words, our mission is to be the force that uplifts the doers of good.”
